Hi all, I’m Angela, a resin jeweller and artist. I started Sea & Shore 4 years ago out of a deep passion for nature and art. I live in Kommetjie, a small seaside village, bordering the wild Atlantic oceans and the Fynbos covered mountains.
I create resin jewellery and art filled with locally and ethically foraged Fynbos (a plant kingdom found only in South Africa) and ocean treasures. I’ve always been in complete awe at the pure magic of nature.
Creating Sea & Shore has made me see the world completely differently, every little leaf or flower is a new a piece of magic waiting to happen. Foraging for all these elements has become the highlight of my week.
I often joke that in another life I would have been a botanist because I am just amazed by each little flower and the incredible eco system that these plants play a major role in.
As a resin jeweller and artist, I hope to be able to share nature through my eyes and remind everyone of the beauty of where we live! A homage to the magic of South Africa.
